This is so true Jonathon. When things are dark and difficult, I ask the question - What would it take for... and then I put in whatever positive outcome I'm hoping for...or something better to happen. Whenever I do this, the next step comes to me, or I get guidance through something I read, through a friend, loved one or a stranger, or an opportunity drops into my life. Thanks for sharing this.

I had an interview with a consulting firm on behalf of a hiring company, the consulting firm mail me that i was successful that I should read up on the hiring company for second interview which will be schedule for me, its 3 weeks running i have not heard from them please advice me on what to do.

Wondering what your thoughts are in this situation: We got a tip from a friend that a small business where my husband would love to work was thinking about hiring someone, but hadn't gotten as far as posting a listing yet. We sent them an e-mail with my husband's resume and with our friend as reference (hope that wasn't considered rude name-dropping? Our friend said to mention his name...), and the owner replied saying he'd look it over and get back to him in a week or so. It's been about ten days and we haven't heard anything. Is it appropriate to write a follow up e-mail in this situation, or should we wait a bit longer?
